  13. Try loading the Turbosound tool (part of the SuperJam! archive).
  14.  
  15. With it you get:
  16.     -up to 16 voices (w/and accel amiga)
  17.     -multiple samples per sound 
  18.         (they include an incomplete general midi drum map,
  19.         which you can flesh out)
  20.     -samples don't alternate channels with each note
  21.     -includes interface for editing/creating turbosounds
  22.  
  23. Warning:
  24.     Turbosound seems to conflict w/the internal metronome, so turn
  25. it off.  When loading MIDI files, even that won't work and the
  26. playback is totally garbled.  However, if you use the follow
  27. procedure, you can also use midi files:
  28.  
  29.     -load midi file (w/smerff acces.)
  30.     -turn off internal metronome
  31.     -copy (drag) the turbosound tool into a tooltray
  32.     -load a sound into that tool
  33.     -now copy (drag) that tool to the pipeline where needed
  34.     -load new sounds to suit track
  35.  
  36. Quality:
  37.     The size of these sounds was kept small for users of older
  38. amigas.  You can improve the quality by resetting the sample rate to
  39. High (16728 hz), tuning the sounds down and octave (they were orig
  40. sampled at Med (8364)) and resaving them.
